Biketoberfest 2012
We had a great time in Dayton for 5 days during Biketoberfest. We rode to and from Daytona as well as rode about 250 miles while there. We rode the loop twice as well as to Ponce Inlet to eat at Down The Hatch. We hit all the areas of Daytona, Mainstreet, Destination Daytona, Flaggler Beach, & the track. Great time with great friends and family.

Yankees
Had a great time at the Yankee game at Tropicana Field against the Rays. We got the same seats as last year, on the wall in right field. The down fall, Tex was out with an injury and my boy Swish was playing first. Oh well we still had a fun day although I would like to go to a game and we win. Second year in a row we have lost when we attended a game!! GO YANKEES!!!

Tropical Storm Debbie
On June 25 we had one of the worst tropical storms we have ever had in North Florida. Most of the storms we get during huricane season have some wind and some rain. Not tropical storm Debbie!! Over a 36 hour period we got over 20 inches of rain. Our barn flooded and under our house flooded. We lost our pool pump and all the A/C duct work under the house had to be replaced. Minimal damage but such a pain to clean up and replace. Only real loss was all of our koi fish in our pond swam away. We are blessed that we did not have more damage and all of our chicken houses did stay dry. We know so many people in the county that did not fair as well as we did so we are blessed! I hope that the Weather Channel was correct about this being a 500 year flood because I never want to see anything like this again!!
